Meet Dr. Cole Valko
Dr. Cole Valko was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, where he grew up with a love for sports and outdoor hobbies.
His father was a long-time chiropractic patient, so Dr. Valko began to understand its benefits from a young age. As he grew older and felt the effects of rigorous active sports, Dr. Valko became a chiropractic patient himself which helped him stay in prime condition to prevent pain and injuries. He regularly saw the benefits of chiropractic and eventually realized it would be the right career path for him.
Sports have always been a huge part of Dr. Valko’s life. He played collegiate football while attending the University of Rochester and loved every moment of it. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biology, Dr. Valko earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College where he was a member of the Phi Chi Omega Honor Society.
After graduating Dr. Valko moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where he joined the Keith Clinic team in 2017. For the next 7 years he practiced gaining invaluable knowledge and experience treating patients in private practice. During his time at Keith clinic he worked his way from an associate to a lead chiropractic physician having the opportunity to help spearhead opening a new location in South Charlotte.
Following his time at Keith Clinic, Dr. Valko met Dr. Kevin Sharp. Shortly after they learned of their shared dedication to patient care, passion for chiropractic health, and commitment to excellence. After careful consideration, Dr. Sharp’s discernment lead to passing the torch of Sharp Chiropractic to Dr. Valko.
As clinic director Dr. Valko strives to carry on the legacy built by Dr. Sharp. His goal is to identify and educate his patients on the root cause of a problem to help them prevent further pain. He’s here to help patients improve their overall quality of life. His favorite type of adjustment is to the upper cervical spine which helps patients with chronic headaches.
In his free time, Dr. Cole enjoys hanging out with friends, checking out local breweries, watching his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, and of course, staying active.
